New images of the “Black Cat” Air Jordan 4 include special packaging

The “Black Cat” Air Jordan 4 will make its return later this year to much fanfare. This monochromatic take on the classic silhouette features a blacked-out upper with only bit of visual variety being the Jumpman branding perched atop the tongue.  A black midsole and matching rubber outsole rounds the aesthetic. At WNBA All-Star practice Angel Reese introduced the world to a new colorway of her debut signature sneaker, the Angel Reese 1 that capitalizes on what was meant to be a pejorative.  The “Mebounds” , which was a term coined in an attempt to knock Reese for her propensity to get rebounds off her own misses, sports a pink a light pink mesh foundational layer overlaid with bubble gum pink synthetic cage. Stupid Things People Do for Sneakers: Thieves steal thousands from FL sneaker store in “flash and grab” robbery

Police in Pembroke Pines, FL are on the hunt for a triad of thieves who made off with thousands of dollars worth of products in a matter of moments in the robbery of a local sneaker store.  The manager of Stepped on Kicks, Sandy Napoles , said the thieves stole an estimated $20,000-$40,000 worth of products in a mere thirty seconds.  Security footage shows the three burglars, in the early morning hours, kicking through the glass at the front of the store to gain entry to the store. Toriano Morgan Reportedly Had No Plans to Leave Edward Waters

The ”Fire Red” Air Jordan V is but one of a plethora of of original colorways that are making their return in 2025.  Initial images of the upcoming iteration of the classic colorway and they sport a white leather upper equipped with clear netting on the sides and tongue. Tennessee State Places Six on Conference Watch Lists Ahead of 2025 Season

The OVC-Big South Football Association released its preseason watch lists for offense and defense. Amongst the student athletes to make the cut were six Tigers. Tight end Jason Hoath, who has been key in blocking and has shown ability in the passing game was named to the Association’s offensive players to watch list.  Joining him is offensive lineman Anthony Smith. Damian Lillard agrees to contract with Trail Blazers

DameTine is coming home.  According to Shams Charania, the man who was the face of the Trail Blazers for nearly a decade has agreed on a 3-year, $42 million deal with Portland.  Lillard spent the last two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, following a blockbuster trade that sent Lillard to the Bucks, Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, Toumani Camera a 2029 first round pick and pick swap rights in 2029 and 2030 to the Trail Blazers, while Jusuf Nurkic, Grayson Allen, Nassir Little and Keon Johnson were sent to the Suns. …

Shannon Harris on the way to Tennessee State?

According to James Larson of Pro Football Newsroom, D.C. Defenders head coach Shannon Harris is now listed as the Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach at Tennessee State University.  A trip to the football coaches page on the Tennessee State athletics website does reveal that Harris is indeed listed as the Tigers’ Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach.
