Alabama A&M men’s hoops to host Elite Boys Basketball Camp

Courtesy of Aliyah McDaniel | Assistant Athletics Communications Director Alabama A&M University men’s basketball program will host the Otis Hughley Elite Boys Basketball Camp on August 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Elmore Gymnasium, the program announced Monday.  The camp is $90 and open to boys ranging from ninth grade to sophomores in college. The camp will include individual skill work with AAMU coaching staff, competitive drills, 5-on-5 games, and information on NCAA rules, regulations and eligibility from compliance.  Lunch will be provided. The daughter of Deion Sanders, Alabama A&M guard Shelomi Sanders, has signed a NIL deal with Dexcom U. Dexcom U is the NIL arm of Dexcom, the company is a “pioneer in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Alabama State’s Eric Coleman converted a successful three-point shot attempt with 4.1 seconds on the game clock subsequently giving ASU a 53-51 lead.
