Over the past couple of years we have seen the return of original Air Jordan 3 colorways – ”White Cement”, ”Black Cement”, ”True Blue”- with Nike Air branding, with one colorway, the “Fire Red”, conspicuously absent.
A few months back when news initially broke of an Air Jordan 3 with Fire Red in the color description, the hope was that at long last the original “Fire Red” 3 would be making a return.
Alas, that would not be the case.
What will be releasing is an Air Jordan 3 that will sport a white upper with denim elephant print overlays at the toe and wrapping the heel. The same print is also seen at the midfoot. Fire red is seen at the collar, tongue Jumpman and forefoot lace holes. At the heel “NIKE” branding is seen but is overlaid by a clear back tab with a Jumpman and “AIR”.
This upper sits atop a white and black midsole and a white outsole.
The Air Jordan 3 SE is scheduled, for now, to release August 1 at nike.com and select retail establishments and will carry a $200 USD sticker price.
