Fans of the Air Jordan II, your prayers, lamentations and complaints will finally be answered in the form of the returning “Chicago” Air Jordan II this holiday season.
At this early juncture there are no images but we know what the “Chicago” colorway so the expectation is that of a white leather upper with red accents. It remains to be seen if these will the black and red piping seen on all retros of the colorway since that of the ’94 version or will be an attempt to offer a true facsimile of the original 1987 that had no such colored piping. The other hope is the share and height will be on point and hopefully they follow in the vein of the “Off-White” Air Jordan II , in that the shape of the toe box was in line with the original.
Regardless of how the upper turns out, there will be a black midsole and a white, red and black rubber outsole.
