Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers: Thieves steal $425 worth of sneakers from store

Police in the Bronx are on the hunt for two thieves that allegedly stole sneakers from a local store.

According to police, at approximately 6:45 on February 11 the two males entered the Sketchers store on River Avenue. Surveillance footage captured the duo entering the establishment and one of the alleged suspects quickly absconding the premises with boxes in his arms. Police also indicated that a knife was brandished at a store employee.

The alleged duo fled on foot with their ill-gotten footwear, valued at $425. Thankfully no one was injured during the theft.
