Something unique most people wouldn’t know about you:
“When I was 7 years old, I busted my forehead while playing hide and seek in the house with my siblings and had to get stitches.”
Your goals or plans after finishing school:
“After finishing school, I plan to get a job in my career field. I also plan to give back to my hometown by creating opportunities for children because I know how challenging it is to grow up in an underprivileged community. I will be the change and give the kids hope by showing them that no matter how many obstacles are thrown in their path there are ways to overcome them and achieve success.”
Your greatest inspiration:
“The greatest inspiration in my life is my mom. I look up to her in so many ways. She is always positive and determined to help everyone around her. She always inspired me to set high goals for myself and work hard to reach them. She has taught me to be positive in difficult circumstances. When she faces tough times, she chooses to focus on the good and not get weighed down by the bad. Her favorite quote is “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade”. No matter what she is dealing with, she always manages to get through it somehow.”
What do you love the most about being a student-athlete your school?
“What I enjoy the most about being a student-athlete at SAU is the family-oriented environment.”
