CIAA Indoor Track News: Saint Augustine’s Men’s track gets it done at VCU Invitational

Courtesy of Saint Augustine’s Athletics Freshman Terrell Robinson continued his hot start from Winston-Salem last month with two first place finishes at the VCU Invitational. The talented freshman posted a 6.74 time in the 60m final, and a 21.90 in the 200m. Not to be outdone, fellow freshman, Kailen Perry won the 400m with a time of 49.54. Making A Difference: SAU and Shaw teams up with Academy Sports to donate gift cards

Saint Augustine’s University, Shaw University and Academy Sports + Outdoors donated $5,000 in gift cards to two local youth programs earlier this month. The Wake County Boys & Girls Club and the Capital City Steelers Junior/Peewee Football Team each received a $2,500 gift card to Academy Sports + Outdoors in Apex, N.C. The gift cards enabled the youth programs to buy new equipment, gear, apparel, footwear and other school items.
