Virginia State notched its second win of the season in a 34-7 rout of Johnson C. Smith. Smith University women’s tennis team was named to the 2019 Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team and six Golden Bulls earned individual ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, the ITA announced Thursday. This year the Intercollegiate Tennis Association saw an increase in qualifying teams and scholar-athletes. All-Academic honors were awarded to 940 teams and thousands of scholar-athletes.  JCSU women’s team who earned All-Academic honors individual academic accolades are Alisa Stevenson, Aleena Oakley, Aria Springfield, Cierra Turner, Jada Strickland and Halle Parker.
