Livingstone College basketball player Eric Henderson killed in auto accident

Tragedy has unfortunately touched Livingston College. Monday, Eric Henderson a member of the Livingstone basketball team was killed in a car accident. According to WRAL.com, Henderson was killed in a two-car collision that involved a an off-duty Cumberland County sheriff’s deputy.was travelling west on Highway 13 in Cumberland County , heading back to school, when his car crossed the center line and collided head-on with a pickup truck driven by an off-duty sheriff’s deputy. by Blue Bears Sports Information Department  SALISBURY – Livingstone College Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) members and their teammates volunteered at Overton Elementary School for their annual Jump rope Club Lock-In.  Each year, LC student-athletes participate with the elementary students to play games, help out by serving dinner and promote goals of physical, social and character development of the students.
