Albany State footballer struck and killed by city bus

Tragedy has shown up on doorstep of the Albany State campus and football team. Monday ASU linebacker Adonis Butler was hit by a city bus on the University’s east campus. The young brother was pronounced deceased at the scene , according to the ASU Facebook post. An investigation has been launched by the Albany Police, the Albany State University Police and the Georgia State Patrol. Former UK basketball star Terrence Clarke killed in car crash

From Blake Schuster of B/R: Former Kentucky men’s basketball star Terrence Clarke died following a car crash in Los Angeles on Thursday, his agent, Rich Paul, confirmed to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Clarke was 19 years old. The Boston native was reportedly working out in Southern California in preparation for the 2021 NBA draft prior to the crash. Tuskegee football player Jabari Bailey has career tragically ended

Jabari Bailey was set to head to Tuskegee this summer for camp and begin to actualize his dream of playing college football. Sadly that dream was ended when Bailey was helping a friend who car had malfunctioned, leaving him stranded on the side of the road. A car struck Bailey, pinning him between the two vehicles and severing his leg. Stephen Curry raises $45,157 for Oakland fire victims 

The December 2nd fire in Oakland at the Ghost Ship warehouse that tragically ended the lives of 36 people was indeed an unfortunate event. Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has decided to pitch in to help the victims of this adverse situation.
