ETTRICK, Va. — Virginia State University is dealing with a developing crisis after five people were wounded in a shooting near campus residence halls early Saturday morning. According to authorities, officers responded around 1:28 a.m. Saturday, August 15, to the area of the university’s Quad Annexes, where they found five individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Last night I watched the Clippers beat the trailblazers, I knew the inevitable parade to the free-throw line with DeAndre Jordan as the grand marshal would soon ensue.
