The Southern University football family is mourning the loss of former Jaguar standout Virgil “Vee” Williams. Southern University Football announced the news Wednesday, extending condolences to Williams’ family, friends and loved ones while remembering the impact he made on the Jaguar community. Williams was a Shreveport native who played for Southern from 2010 through 2013. During his Jaguar career, he established himself as a standout defensive back and return specialist.
