Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum will not be in the lineup tonight when the Blazers meet up with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
NBC Sports Northwest’s Jamie Hudson reports that it is a right ankle sprain that will keep him out of tonight’s contest.
McCollum suffered the sprain in the Blazers’ 120-112 loss to the Dallas Mavericks Friday night.
With McCollum and his 21.5 ppg absent, the Blazers will need even more contributions from Carmelo Anthony, but this presents an opportunity for young guys like Anfernee Simons and Nassir Little to step up.
