Team USA’s squad for the matches against Australia at Marvel Stadium in August continues to grow, with numerous All-Stars among the updated list of reported names to be added to the team.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, players expected to join USA’s training camp for the FIBA World Cup includes Bradley Beal, Eric Gordon, Kyle Kuzma, Damian Lillard, Brook Lopez, Kevin Love, CJ McCollum and Jayson Tatum.
PJ Tucker and Paul Millsap were also mentioned as possibilities to be included in the squad.
USA’s two games against the Boomers will serve as warm-up fixtures just a week before the World Cup begins on August 31.
It was reported last week by Marc Stein of the NY Times that Kemba Walker, James Harden, Anthony Davis, Donovan Mitchell and Zion Williamson are also chances to represent the USA in the games against Australia and in the World Cup.
The Australian Boomers squad of 18 was named last month, headlined by Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons and including a slew of NBL stars including Nathan Sobey, Nick Kay, Chris Goulding, Mitch McCarron, Todd Blanchfield and Mitch Creek.
