Monday the NBA announced their Western and Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week. Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard was named Western Conference Player of the Week, with Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo took the honors for the Eastern Conference.
In leading the Bucks to a 3-0 records last week, Giannis put up 33.3 points, 16 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game, Lillard also lead his Trail Blazers to am identical 3-0 record and averaged 28.3 points, 8.3 assists, and shoot 100% from the foul line, connecting on all of his 22 attempts.
Out of the East, LaMelo Ball, Jimmy Butler, Clint Cappella, DeMar DeRozan, Darius Garland, , James Harden, Tyrese Maxey and Jayson Tatum were also nominated.
Western Conference played that also garnered consideration were Karl-Anthony Towns, Jordan Poole and Deandre Ayton.
