From the Southwestern Athletic Conference
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Alabama State’s Tyesha Rudolph and Grambling State’s Alexus Holt for SWAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Honors for their outstanding performances during non-conference play this past week.
Player of the Week
Rudolph was a key contributor for Alabama State against North Carolina scoring 22 of the Lady Hornets 47 points. She also tallied an assist while grabbing three rebounds.
Impact Player of the Week
Holt scored 12 points during Grambling State’s game against UAB while also contributing an assist along with a steal and rebound.

The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) is considered one of the premier HBCU conferences in the country and currently ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of HBCU alumni playing with professional sports teams.
