PRINCESS ANNE, Md. — 
Maryland Eastern Shore men’s basketball showed it was happy to be home for a game after five straight on the road on Wednesday night, when the Hawks defeated the Clarks Summit University Defenders 102-58.

Wednesday night was the first time Maryland Eastern Shore has scored in triple digits since Feb. 20, 2017, when the Hawks defeated North Carolina A&T State 106-95 in triple overtime. The last time the squad scored over 100 in regulation was on Dec. 22, 2015, in a 115-86 victory over Central Penn.Nathaniel Pollard, Jr. recorded the team’s first double-double of the season as he finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

George Washington 75, Coppin State 62

WASHINGTON, D.C. — 
Despite a strong first half, the Coppin State men’s basketball team was unable to contain the Colonials falling 75-62 in the Smith Center.

The Eagles move to 1-12 on the season.

Jesse Zarzuela led the team with 19 points and a team-high four assists with seven rebounds and shot 4-of-4 from the free-throw line. Tyree Corbett was the second leading scorer with a double-double of 15 points and a team-high 12 rebounds.
