It is no secret that Demarcus Cousins has been hampered by injuries over the past few season, however the freshly signed Los Angeles Lakers has at least one lofty goal for the 2019-20 campaign.
Lakers Nation’s Matthew Moreno reports that Cousins wants to play in all 82 games next season.
Cousins also attest his quadriceps that he injured in the playoffs is “100% healed.”
He returned from the injury in the Finals but did not resemble the Boogie we have seen in previous years, averaging just 8.3 points 4.7 rebounds in the championship round.
The Lakers and Cousins agreed to a one year, $3.5 million deal, one that is low risk and potentially high reward for the franchise.
If Cousins can somewhat resemble the player that averaged 25.9 points and 12.9 rebounds before being kicked in hind parts by injuries then the Lakers will have one helluva a player on their hands and makes them even more of a threat to the rest of the Western Conference and the NBA.
