Puma is certainly not resting on it laurels. As they have re-entered the basketball footwear space, Puma has hit the ground running, signing 2018 NBA lottery picks DeAndre Ayton (1), Marvin Bagley III (2), Kevin Knox (9), and Michael Porter Jr. (14) and first rounder Zaire Smith (16). The brand also added NBA vets Rudy Gay, Terry Rozier and Puma is also making inroads in the WNBA, signing star player Skylar Diggins-Smith.
It appears that Puma could be in the midst of making another notable addition to their roster. According to ESPN’s Nick DePaula DeMarcus Cousins has reportedly signed a “lucrative, multi-year” shoe contract with Puma on Thursday.
