According to the Dallas Morning News’ Brad Townsend, Dallas Mavericks rookie extraordinaire Luka Doncic will Sunday’s road game against the Oklahoma City Thunder with a right high contusion. Doncic suffered the injury after gettting hit on knee during the team’s game against the Miami Heat on Thursday.
Townsend also added that Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle has indicated that the team will take a “cautions approach” with Doncic.
Doncic is enjoying a very productive rookie session, posting per game averages of 21.1 points, 7.6 rebounds 5.9 assists and has impressed with his polish, and playmaking, which are that of someone far beyond his 20 years.
