The “Eggplant” Air Foamposite One debuted back in 2009 , and then was followed by a return eight years later in 2017 as part of the Foamposite’s 20th anniversary. It appears in 2024 the colourway will be set for a third retail run.
At this early juncture there are no available images, but what we should see, in keeping with the aesthetic of its forbears, a Foam 1 with an iridescent eggplant Foamposite upper along with black nubuck on the eyerows and mesh of the same hue at the tongue. Eggplant OneCent branding should appear on the rear heel and of the jewelled variety on the aforementioned tongue.
Underneath should resides a black carbon fibre plate and a translucent rubber outsole with eggplant traction sections.
The “Eggplant” Nike Air Foamposite One is planned to embark on its tertiary retail journey next spring, unfortunately, via the SNKRS application and select retail establishments’ they will carry a 240 USD sticker price.
