Ray Allen is one of the foundational members of the Jordan Brand roster, having been signed with the Brand since 1997. Back in 2002, when he ran with the Milwaukee Bucks, Allen wore two player exclusive Air Jordan 7, a white leather based “home” version, and a black based “away” model.
The away version is releasing later this year in celebration and commemoration of his career and Hall of Fame induction.
We have our first look at the coming shoe, thanks to @zsneakerheadz. Rather than leather,it sports a black nubuck upper with a purple Jumpman on the lateral upper ankle. The midsole appears black with purple and grey at the forefoot and the heel. A green outsole rounds out the images we can see from the image we have so far.
The “Ray Allen” Air Jordan 7 is scheduled for a June 22nd release. It will be available at nike.com and select Jordan Brand retail venues. The sticker price is set at $190 USD.
