TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | The Florida A&M University football team, once again, continued to inch closer to the top 10 in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) polls on Monday.

Despite having a bye week, the Rattlers jumped four spots in the STATS FCS Top 25 to land at No.12. In the FCS Coaches Poll, FAMU moved up one spot to No. 14.

The Rattlers are one of two Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) schools in the FCS Top 25 polls. North Carolina A&T State dropped to 25th in both polls, following a 22-16 loss at the hands of Morgan State. Entering the weekend, FAMU and NCA&T were tied at 15th in the FCS Coaches Poll, while the Aggies were ranked 14th in the STATS Poll.

For the fourth consecutive week, the Rattlers remain the top HBCU football team in country. FAMU took the No. 1 ranking in both the SBN Black College Football Poll and the BOXTOROW Coaches Poll.

FAMU returns to action this Saturday, at Bragg Stadium, for Senior Day.  The Rattlers will take on the Howard University Bison. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN3.
