Longtime Team Jordan member Chris Paul has been a fan of the Air Jordan 1 Low. Almost since his joining of the brand in 2006 , the new Golden State Warriors point guard has been routinely seen in lower collared iterations of the bedrock silhouette of the Air Jordan line.
In October the result of his collaboration with the brand will come to fruition with the release of an Air Jordan 1 Low. The upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low sports a floral patterned light cream suede upper with light sail suede showing up on the Swooshes that adorn the lateral and medial sides, toe box, tongue and rear heel overlay. Light sail stands in for the “NIKE AIR” branding on the light cream tongue labels , with an embroidered Wings logo present on the rear heel. Behind the tongue reads “Give Them Flowers” , with the floral motif carried over to the insoles, which features a flower graphic.
Underneath resides a light sail midsole and a semi-translucent rubber outsole below which a flower pattern.
The sneakers will also be housed in special packaging and come with additional laces.
The “Give Them Flowers” Chris Paul x Air Jordan 1 Low OG is planned to debut October 24 at nike.com and select retail establishments; they will carry a 160 USD sticker price.
