Harris Stowe State University receives bomb threat

St. Louis, Missouri’s Harris-Stowe State University is the latest HBCU to be the target of a bomb threat Tuesday morning. According to a statement issued by the University, St. Louis Metropolitan Police as well as the FBI have been contacted and are investigating.

Authorities are conducting a search of all campus facilities. Classes and university operations, which also include the chow hall have been suspended. University employees and commuter students are asked not to report to campus today.

Unfortunately Harris-Stowe has not even been the only HBCU today that is dealing with this emergency event. Morgan State also received a bombed threat earlier Tuesday morning.
