Howard University grads Iyanna Warren (Accokeek, Md.) and Charles Williams (Richmond, Va.) were selected to compete at the HBCU Allstar Dream Classic, scheduled for Saturday, August 10 at historic Rucker Park (280 West 155th Street New York, NY 10039).

The experience mergers HBCU sports, education and traditions with Urban Streetball Culture.

Warren, a two-time All-MEAC selection, played in 115 games (78 starts) for the Bison while racking up 1,043 points, 381 assists, 315 rebounds and 141 steals. In her junior year, she led HU to a MEAC Tournament title and berth to the NCAA Tournament where the squad won its first NCAA Tourney victory over Incarnate Word in the inaugural NCAA First Four.

Williams, a three-time BOXTOROW All-American, saw action in 133 contests (125 starts) for Howard, compiling 2,404 points, 325 rebounds and 103 assists. In his final season, the Virginia native set the standard, becoming the school’s and conference’s all-time leading scorer.

The event puts 40 of the best HBCU Basketball players in the world on display at the hallowed grounds of Rucker Park in Harlem. These exceptional athletes will represent several conferences including, the CIAA (Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association), MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), SIAC (Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) SWAC (Southwestern Athletic Conference), Gulf Coast and NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics).

Coaches, G-Leagues, European Leagues and Sports Agents will be in attendance.
