According to the New York Times’ Marc Stein, Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma may miss the beginning of training camp due to a left ankle injury.
Kuzma suffered the injury while he was with Team USA during a FIBA World Cup exhibition back in late August.
Last year the 27th overall pick in the 2017 Draft averaged a career-high 18.7 points and 5.5 rebounds on 46.5 percent from the floor. It was this upward trend in play and production was the reason why the Lakers would not include him in trade talks.
The Lakers open camp on September 28.
