Brooklyn Nets general manager Sean Marks told reporters Wednesday that point guard Kyrie Irving will miss the remainder of the 2019-20 season. Irving will undergo shoulder surgery; Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson has mentioned earlier in the week that Irving was to see a specialist and a decision as to what would follow forthcoming.
Irving’s maiden season is Brooklyn has been marred with various injuries. The following ailments have caused him to missed 26 games:
- Right Shoulder
- Hamstring
- Knee
- Shoulder
Kyrie has only appeared in 20 games , but in those games he’s averaged 27.4 points, 6.4 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game.
