Mark Parker and Nike pay tribute to Kobe with the Kobe 11 Muse Pack

Nike President and CEO Mark Parker credits Kobe Bryant as one of the prime collaborators who helped to make Parker’s goal of delivering the unimaginable to athletes. Their relationship dates back to 2003 with the Huarache 2K4, the first shoe Kobe sported after signing with the Swoosh and shoe Parker had a hand in developing, along with a couple of guys named Hatfield and Avar.

The “Black Mamba” is the third installment in the Kobe 11 Muse Pack and it features details inspired by the black mamba.  The Flyknit pattern, the laces, tongue and the sneaker’s underbelly all have Mark Parker designed reptilian nods.

The Kobe 11 Parker Muse will be available May 26,2016 in limited quantities, first at SNKRS, then Nike.com and select global retail venues.
