South Carolina State wide receiver Einaj Carter was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Offensive Player of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola. S.C. State defensive lineman Ka’Von Chisolm earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, while teammates Kyle Gallegos and Dyson Robertswere named Rookie and Specialist of the Week, respectively.
Carter (WR, 5-8, 178, Sr., Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) recorded two touchdown receptions for 82 yards in the Bulldogs’ win over Fort Valley State.
Chisolm (DL, 6-5, 260, Fr., Estill, S.C.) collected five solo tackles in the Bulldogs victory over the Wildcats adding two tackles for a loss, both quarterback sacks, for 22 yards.
Gallegos (K, 5-9, 150, Fr., Fort Worth, TX) contributed six points with a 25-yard field goal and finishing perfectly, 3-for-3, on PAT kicks for the Bulldogs. Additionally, Gallegos registered 319 yards on six kickoffs (53.2 avg.) with two touchbacks.
Roberts (P, 5-11, 187, Sr., Sumter, S.C.) registered 307 yards on seven punts (43.9 avg.) in the Bulldogs’ victory. He recorded a long of 67 yards including two kicks inside the 20-yard line, with one touchback and two kicks of 50+ yards.

Jarett Hunter (Howard) registered 102 rushing yards on 15 carries with one touchdown.
Kenny Gallop Jr. (Howard) collected six tackles, five solo, with 2.5 tackles for a loss of nine yards. He added one sack for six yards.
