The Miami Dadeland Pinecrest Rotary Club is looking to use kicks to make a difference in the lives of some derserving schoolchildren and the community as a whole. They will be collecting sneakers ( they do not have to be new) at the 2018 FitBit Miami Marathon on January 26 and 27. You can also bring them to their tent location near the finish line on Sunday January 28.
Participants in the race can also donate their shoes at the finish line as well.
Donating three or more pairs will receive a free Bayside cruise certificate, good for up to five people. Additional certificates will be given out for each three pairs donated.
Funds obtain from collecting the sneakers will be used to help provide scholarships for students and fund the Miami Dadeland Pinecrest Rotary Club’s various community efforts.
