Nick Young has agreed to a deal with the Denver Nuggets. The team made the announcement Monday morning.
Young comes to the Nuggets fresh off a championship with the Golden State Warriors last season. Though his minutes, 17.4, were the lowest since his rookie season and his points, 7.3, tied a career low, Young can still be a valuable scorer off the Denver bench. Last season he shot 37.7 from distance and had hit at least 36.9 percent of his three over the past five seasons.
With injuries to Gary Harris and Will Barton, and no timetable for Isaiah Thomas’ return, Young will be counted on to ready to play immediately and provide instant offense. This means cannot afford to show up in less than optimal shape.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed yet.
