Today Nike officially released images of the first low top version of a Kyrie Irving signature shoe. Termed a “democratized version of Kyrie Irving’s signature series” by Nike, the sneaker is built with an emphasis on comfort.
Although the Low carries over some of the same aesthetic features of its higher-collared brother ( distinctive upper modeling and curved sole) it varies from the 4 distinctively underfoot.
Where the Kyrie 4 has a top loaded Zoom Air unit ( meaning it sits right below the foot), the Zoom unit on the Low is bottom-loaded for a softer feel underfoot.
The initial colorway that releases on June 29, features a grey synthetic upper with the aforementioned modeling on the heel and forefoot. White branding on the lateral side with silver Kyrie branding on the tongue with blue inner complete the look of this shoe’s upper. This upper sits atop a white, speckled midsole and gum coloured outsole.
The Kyrie Low makes it retail debut June 29.
