Shooting 9-23 is not a particularly efficient game but Nikola Jokic made the last of his makes from the field count as it proved to be the deciding bucket, lifting the Denver Nuggets to a 100-98 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
It was Jokic’s second game-winning shot in the last three days. On November 8, against the 76ers, his jumper in the waning seconds was the go ahead basket.
