Isiah Thomas has been appointed to the New York Knicks’ board of directors, marking his return to the organization.
The former Knicks head coach and president will join the board when the Knicks become a standalone public company.
Thomas previously served as the Knicks’ president from 2003–2008 and head coach from 2006–2008.
⚠️ Important: This is a board-level role. Thomas is not returning as the Knicks’ president, coach or basketball operations executive.
Still… after nearly two decades away from the organization, Isiah Thomas is officially back in the Knicks family.
