Nookie pays homage to classic Ghostbusters films with limited edition kicks

To pay homage to the classic Ghostbusters movie, Nookiee is releasing a series of limited edition sneakers inspired by the movie.

Starting the collection off are a low collared shoe that comes in a white based colorway and a black based model. Both versions feature the Ghostbusters logo on the medial side. On the heel the line “WHO YOU GONNA CALL? “, from Ray Parker, Jr.’s classic Ghostbusters theme song.

The next model is quite noticeable as it features an angry Gozer, who is the villain from the first movie, zapping the Ghostbusters. On the rear of the shoe is the Ghostbusters logo.

The crown jewels of the collection are the four tan shoes that are fashioned after the suits worn by the four ghost wranglers. Each shoe has the name of one the four Ghostbusters ,(Zeddemore,Venkman,Stanz, and Spengler) just like the patch on their suits. There will be an even more limited edition run of 8 shoes each   that has an embroidered production number and your name. The name/suit sneakers clock in at $100, while the the logo and Gozer models will cost $120. The limited edition Stanz sneakers will run you a pretty $448. They are currently available for preorder from Nookiee and ship in January. There is no solid information available for the other three limited name sneakers but we will have that information as it comes available.
