Reigning CAA Co-Player of the Week, North Carolina A&T guard Jahnathan Lamothe became the first Aggie in program history to be named as one of five Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week honorees.
Lamothe averaged 24.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest as he helped North Carolina A&T to a 2-0 week, with wins over Campbell, 53-50, and Stony Brook , 73-72. Lamont he came up big in both contests, scoring 25 points and a critical three-pointer with under a minute to go, while he scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds against Stony Brook. . The consecutive wins were not something achieved by the teams since back to back wins over The Citadel and Morgan State on November 17 and 20.
The Maryland native has been a key cog in the Aggies 3-1 recent stretch , scoring at least 20 points in all four contests.
