Morgan State 66, Saint Peter’s 62

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — 
Three Bears scored in double figures on Monday as Morgan State picked up its third straight win, a 66-62 defeat of Saint Peter’s in the Yanitelli Center.

Ashia McCalla led the Bears (3-4) with 15 points to go along with five rebounds and three steals, while Adia Brisker dropped 13 points and grabbed six rebounds and four steals. MEAC Preseason Player of the Year Dahnye Redd added 11 points, five rebounds and a block.

Taylor Addison grabbed a team-high seven boards to go along with nine points.

Towson 76, Delaware State 47

TOWSON, Md. — 
Delaware State dropped a 76-47 non-conference contest on the road to the Towson Tigers on Monday.

Redshirt-senior Zoe Holmes, who had missed the first four games of the season due to injury, made her regular-season debut off the bench for the Hornets. Holmes paced Delaware State with a 13-point 10-rebound double-double, both of which were team highs.

Elon 73, North Carolina Central 51

ELON, N.C. — 
A pair of freshmen in Diamond Thomas and Nia Ford led North Carolina Central in a 73-51 non-conference loss at Elon University Monday night.

Thomas paced the Eagles for a second straight game with 16 points, including a trio of treys. Ford followed with a season-high 11 points, making five of her seven field goal attempts.
