According to zsneakerheadz, the “Olympic” Air Jordan 6 is making its return this August.
Initially debuting back in 2000 and again in 2012, the third retail run is in the works.
Images of the upcoming release have emerged and what we see is a perforated, tumbled navy leather under layer.over top sits white tumbled leather that forms the stylized “23” that is one of the defining visual features of the VI. Midnight navy can also be seen at the inner, tongue, and on the white-striped rear spoiler. Red shows up via the Jumpman branding present at the tongue and rear heel.
Underneath resides a midnight navy-accented white midsole that houses Nike Air cushioning and a Jumpman branded midnight navy and translucent rubber outsole.
The “Olympic” Air Jordan 6 is scheduled to embark on its third retail voyage August 3 at nike.com and select retail establishments.
