A friendly win for Anadolu Efes in its first of two straight preseason fixtures opposite AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milano

Anadolu Efes defeated AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milano, 95-83, on Thursday.
Vasilije Micic poured 23 points. Newcomer Filip Petrusev paired 20 points with eight rebounds in his preseason debut. Krunoslav Simon logged 19 points and nine assists. Rodrigue Beaubois added 17 points. A 30-9 run in the third quarter strongly shifted the momentum in favor of the team coached by Ergin Ataman.
The hosts were up 52-46 at the break. Sergio Rodriguez ended up with a team-high 14 points in the losing effort. Jerian Grant and Nicolo Melli followed with 11 points apiece. Malcolm Delaney and Kaleb Tarczewski were sidelined.
The two Turkish Airlines EuroLeague teams are planning another prep game coming up on Saturday.
In Greece, Olympiacos without Kostas Sloukas and Kostas Papanikolaou cruised past Ionikos Nikaia BC HNC REVOLUTION, 98-59. Sasha Vezenkov scored a game-high 15 points, while Giorgos Printezis had 14 points and Shaquielle McKissic finished with 12 points.
Heading to Serbia, Crvena Zvezda mts clinched its second preseason victory, 82-77 over Mega Soccerbet. Austin Hollins led the way with 20 points. Nikola Ivanovic combined 17 points with six assists after missing the first friendly game. Nikola Kalinic registered 12 more points.
On to the Ain Star Game organized by JL Bourg, LDLC ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne lost to JDA Dijon, 77-55, in its preseason opener.
