Westermann returns to France for AS Monaco

AS Monaco has signed point guard Leo Westermann to a deal for the upcoming 2021-22 season, the club announced Thursday.
Westermann, 29, spent the previous season with FC Barcelona, with which he averaged 3.5 points, 2 assists and 1.5 rebounds in 11 minutes on the court across 24 EuroLeague contests.
The experienced French guard returns home for the first time since 2016, when he played for Limoges. He has gained EuroLeague experience with Fenerbahce, Zalgiris, CSKA Moscow and Partizan and he’s on to his 11th campaign in the competition.
