Greek national team cuts five players

Ahead of their friendly matchup against Spain on Tuesday, the Hellenic Basketball Federation announced the opening round of cuts from their training camp. Coach Dmitirs Itoudis let go Lefteris Mantzoukas, Omiros Netzipoglou, Girogos Tanoulis, Giogos Tsalmpouris. France’s basketball federation has announced that any players or coaches who are have ties to clubs in Russia or Belarus will not be considered for participation for upcoming international competitions during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
