Paul Pierce is sick and tired of the interference that is rum for any of the Lakers’ shortcomings and he let it be known on a recent episode of KG Certifed.
”Are we going to keep making excuses for the Lakers?” Pierce asked in exasperation. “I’m tired of this sh*t.”
”They made a trade last year, went to the conference finals, then we come in [to this season saying that ] this is the deepest team they have ever had. Now they are off to a slow start and everybody like ‘where we go? This is it. Work with this. Now they need a third star. I’m tired of hearing this.”
The Lakers currently sport a 9-7 record, which is good for the number 7 spot in the Western Conference and clinched their group, West Group A, in the in-season tournament. The Lakers have been linked to Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and (still) Trae Young.
