The ”Prelude” Kobe VI was part of an eight shoe lineup , that was very hard to get ( an unfortunate indicator of the direction Nike would foolishly take the line in), in the build up to the launch of the Kobe 9, an amazing shoe, both on an off the court.
The snakeskin-textured upper of the ”Prelude” VI sports a graffiti design that is inspired by Kobe’s Venice neighborhood. Volt Swooshes adorn the lateral and medial sides ; the same is also presnt on the Kobe logo on the tongue. A green-blue external heel counter that features Kobe’s signature finished off the upper.
A green Zoom Air housing midsole and translucent rubber outsole rounds out what we should see when and if this release does come to fruition. Speculated to return before the time turns the page on 2022, whenever that does happen, I am certain that like so many other recent Kobe releases, the true fans of the man and/or his shoes will be hard-pressed to obtain them and will be at the mercy of the secondary market.
