“Pure Magic” Nike AlphaDunk inspired by Aaron Gordon’s dunk contest

The latest performance silhouette from Nike Basketball is the AlphaDunk and this colorway is inspired by Aaron Gordon’s Crazy Slam Dunk contest performance ( he should have won ).

The AlphaDunk introduces AirKnit, which is similar to the Battleknit that has been on LeBron James’s signature line. It features the aforementioned material at the upper in a mixture of black and interwoven blue. Wrapping around the heel is a large black overlay with a hard-to-miss blue Swoosh. On the medial heel on one shoe sports a “LOB” ( Library Of Bounce”) logo on one, and a “Flight” logo on the other. The insoles also feature Library of Bounce on one and “Pure Magic, First Of Its Kind” on the other.

The upper sits atop a black and white midsole that house a large, visible forefoot Zoom Air unit. A translucent outsole completes the aesthetic.

The “Pure Magic” Nike AlphaDunk’s release is imminent at nike.com and select retail establishments. The sticker price is set at $170 USD.
