Reported on several months ago, the classic “Black Metallic” is the latest original colorway to be taken down the reimagined path. An initial image of this upcoming release has come to light.
The predictive speculation turned out to be accurate, as they sport a black nubuck upper adorned with clear netting on the sides and a red Jumpman-branded reflective tongue. The exposed fringes of the panels of the upper all display a reflective quality, as does the “Nike Air” branding on the rear heel. They will come pre-loaded with white laces, matching a look of the V that Jordan himself took to the course, but an extra set of black laces will be included along with a Nike Air hangtag.
Underneath resides a black midsole, accented with black speckled metallic silver and blue-tinted translucent as well as solid black rubber outsole.
As it currently stands the “Black Metallic Reimagined” Air Jordan V is planned to release February 8, 2025; they will carry a 210 USD sticker price.
