Our AD [George Knox] and our president Dr. Paulette Dillard was here. When you have so many people supporting you, you feel confident.”
“There was a ton of energy,” Paulk said. “The other teams showed up. I saw both basketball teams. I saw tennis, I saw football. [Head Coach Adrian Jones] let them out of practice early. It did us a huge favor.”
“Those guys bring so much energy, I felt confident.” Paulk added. “When you have that crowd, that seventh player almost, you feel good. You feel strong.”
