Lane College announced that wide receivers and tight ends coach/ passing game coordinator Shun Brown has been promoted to the Dragons’ offensive coordinator.

Before coming to Lane, Coach Brown spent a season at Louisiana-Monroe, where he served as an offensive analyst under Rich Rodriguez. His contributions helped head coach Terry Bowden improve a Warhawks team that failed to get in the win column one time the previous season by 4 victories.

Coach Brown played his collegiate football at the University of Arizona where he was a four-year starter. He ended his career as 13th in receiving yards, 11th in receptions, 12th in touchdowns scored, and second in kick returns in school history.

He assumes leadership of a Lane offense that last season was 8th in the SIAC in scoring (22.5 ppg), sixth in passing (198.9 ypg), and second in rushing (144.0 ypg).
