Deondra Duehart (Benedict) was named Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week, while Davir Hamilton-Jackson (Tuskegee) earned Defensive Player of the Week, released by the league office on Monday.
Kendall Norman (Benedict) was also tabbed Special Teams Player of the Week alongside JaQuez Williams (Albany State) who earned Newcomer of the Week.
OFFENSIVE – Deondra Duehart, Benedict | Running Back | R-Freshman | Macon, Ga.
Deondra Duehart rushed for a career-high 217 yards on just 13 carries and scored four touchdowns in Benedict’s 49-20 victory over Clark Atlanta to secure the SIAC East Division title. Duehart scored on runs of 55, 76, 51 and 1 yard.
DEFENSIVE – Davir Hamilton-Jackson, Tuskegee| Linebacker/Defensive Back | R-Senior | Compton, CA
Hamilton-Jackson had a standout game against the Thorobreds over the weekend, totaling 11 tackles, including eight solos. The senior has played on all three levels of the defense so far this season, also recording three tackles for loss, including a pair of sacks in the win, along with an interception to help close out the game and the SIAC West Division for the Golden Tigers.

Kendall Norman had 5 total returns for 96 total yards, including a 51-yard punt return for a touchdown in Benedict’s 49-20 victory over Clark Atlanta to secure the SIAC East Division title.
NEWCOMER – JaQuez Williams, Albany State |Running Back | Freshman | Atlanta, Ga.
The Golden Rams finished with over 400 yards of total offense in a SIAC win over the Maroon Tigers. Freshman JaQuez Williams had 23 carries for 244 yards and 1 touchdown for the Golden Rams.
