Spain started off its preparations for the Olympics with a convincing win over Iran

The Spanish national team has started its preparations for the Tokyo Olympics with their first test being against Iran. They passed it with flying colors as the 17-man squad logged an 88-61 win.
Coach Sergio Scariolo used all 17 players at his disposal and nobody got to spend more than 18 minutes on the floor with Sergio Llull logging 17:33 of playing times. All players, except for Carlos Alocen, scored and Alberto Abalde was leading the way with 13 points.
Llull, Dario Brizuela, and Usman Garuba followed with nine points each while Garuba also grabbed nine rebounds. Pau Gasol and Willy Hernangomez added seven points each.
For Iran, Benham Yakhchali scored 12 in addition to Aaron Geramipoor’s 11 and Mohammad Jamshidi’s ten points.
